Job Description

Protect our clients’ most critical assets as a Cybersecurity Analyst at The Nuage Group. You’ll work with healthcare and financial services organizations to implement advanced threat protection, conduct security assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies while making a real impact on client security postures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and respond to incidents using SIEM platforms
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for client environments
• Implement and manage endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
• Assist with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance audits and documentation
• Develop security policies and procedures for client organizations
• Provide security awareness training to client staff
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure system deployments
• Maintain threat intelligence feeds and stay current with emerging threats

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, or similar)
• Understanding of healthcare and financial services compliance requirements
• Proficiency with vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
• Experience with network security tools and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications (Security+, GSEC, CySA+, or similar)
• Experience with cloud security (AWS Security, Azure Security Center)
• Knowledge of incident response procedures and forensics
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS)
• Previous managed services provider experience
